Devendra Fadnavis Slams Rahul Gandhi for Dharavi Project Remark, Calls Him 'Anti-Poor'

Gchiroli: Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fnavis on Saturday accused Congress leer Rahul Gandhi of being "anti-poor" for latter's remark about multi-crore Dharavi slum redevelopment project.
During an election rally in Amravati for November 20 assembly polls, Gandhi, Leer of Opposition in Lok Sabha, targeted BJP, alleging that Dharavi land worth crores of rupees was handed to industrialist Gautam ani.

He claimed Maha Vikas Aghi government was stolen by use of money as it was a deal for Dharavi project.
Countering charge, Fnavis said Congress wanted to ensure that poor people remain poor.

"Rahul Gandhi is anti-poor. He doesn't want people of Dharavi to get homes. Rajiv Gandhi h me an announcement for Dharavi, and se people were in power for 25 years after that, but no work was done," deputy chief minister said.
He claimed, “Dharavi hasn't been handed over to ani. It has been given to Dharavi Redevelopment Project (DRP), in which state government is also a partner. entire process is transparent. Uddhav Thackeray h decided tender conditions.”
