PM Modi targets Congress
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a dig at the Congress-NCP alliance on Wednesday addressing an election rally in Partur, stated that the Congress party is on its deathbed as "nepotism has overshadowed the party's nationalism." According to him, due to dynasticism, the Congress party is unable to see nationalism. He further stated that this is the reason as to why Congress is faltering today and breathing its last. Addressing the rally, he further stated that there have always been voices from Maharashtra about nationalism and patriotism, but the ethics and values of Maharashtra have always hurt the leaders of Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on every occasion and every platform.
