Did Puja Khedkar Submit Fake ID? IAS Officer's Disability Certificate Lists Factory as Home Address

IAS Puja Khedkar's disability certificate has listed a factory as her home address and the Ration Card she submitted as an identity proof is also fake.

Pune: There's more trouble for IAS officer Puja Khedkar as it has been revealed that a factory has been listed as her home address on her disability certificate she had submitted.

The identity/address proof Khedkar submitted with her disability certificate was a Ration Card and that is likely to be fake.

IAS Officer Puja Khedkar's Disability Certificate Lists Factory As Home Address

The disability certificate submitted by IAS Officer Puja Khedkar has been issued by the Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital in Pune.

Dated August 24, 2022, the home address of Puja Khedkar, as mentioned on the certificate is, ‘"Plot No 53, Dehu Alandi Road, Talawade, Pimpri Chinchwad’.

During the probe, when the officials reached this address, they found no house there; instead, there was a factory by the name of Thermoverta Engineering Company.

Did Puja Khedkar Submit A Fake ID?

In regular practice, the government has mandated the Aadhaar Card for procuring a disability certificate but this was not the case for the trainee IAS officer.

IAS officer Puja Khedkar had produced a Ration Card with her disability certificate; and since the address on the disability certificate is wrong, it means that she has most likely used a fake ID card to support her certificate.

IAS Officer Puja Khedkar's Training Suspended

The Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, decided to place Khedkar's training on hold and ordered her immediate return for further necessary action by July 23.

The letter from Nitin Gadre, Additional Chief Secretary (P) read, “It is informed that Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie has decided to keep your District Training Program on hold and immediately recall you for further necessary action.”

It further stated, "Therefore, you are hereby relieved from District Training Programme of State Government of Maharashtra. The letter from the Academy is attached herewith. You are instructed to join the Academy at the earliest but not later than 23rd July, 2024 under any circumstances."
