Bengaluru: A 40-year-old BMTC bus driver died due to a heart attack while driving his bus in city on Wednesday, according to police officials.
incident occurred at 11 a.m. while bus was en route from Nelamangala to Dasanapura.

BMTC officials stated that Kiran Kumar was driving vehicle number KA 57 F-4007 on route 256 M/1 during its final trip from Nelamangala to Dasanapura.

While on duty, Kumar suffered a heart attack and collapsed. In a courous act, conductor, Obalesh, immediately brought vehicle to a safe halt, ensuring safety of all passengers and preventing any accident.
Obalesh quickly took Kumar to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed he h died from a heart attack after examining him.

“It is with great sness that we anunce untimely demise of Kiran Kumar, a driver from Depot 40, who passed away due to a sudden heart attack on vember 6.” Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) expresses its deepest condolences to family of Kiran Kumar.
