Delhi Metro Training Institute which has been functioning since 2002 at Shastri Park Depot in Delhi, was on September 17, renamed as Delhi Metro Rail Acemy (DMRA), officials said. institute, which also got a new logo, has imparted training to around 25,000 Delhi Metro personnel and 2000 personnel from or metros in India and neighbouring countries, y ded.

" Delhi Metro Training Institute was today given a new name and logo. institute will henceforth be kwn as Delhi Metro Rail Acemy (DMRA)," DMRC said in a statement. Mangu Singh, Managing Director of DMRC, said, " Delhi Metro Rail Acemy will furr raise bar in quality of training in field of Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS)". " acemy will w be heed by a dean and each department will be led by a professor. faculty will be strengned by a team of full-time professors, associate and assistant professors, and lecturers," he ded. 

DMRA is a premier institute in country which is equipped with all modern facilities to impart customised training on every aspect of project planning, implementation, and operations and maintenance of MRTS. "In its pursuit of excellence, acemy will w be undertaking an upgring of its facilities. makeover will include infrastructural, techlogical and acemic up-gration.

Its clients in India include Maha-Metro (Nagpur & Pune), ida Metro, Bengaluru Metro, Chennai Metro, Jaipur Metro, Kochi Metro, Kolkata Metro, Luckw Metro, Mumbai Metro, it stated. 

institute has also imparted customised training to n-metro organisations like Power Grid, DFCCIL, RITES Ltd, CIDCO Ltd, Cyient Ltd, L&T. Its international clients include MRT Jakarta, Indonesia, Dhaka Metro, Banglesh, Nepal and LRT Sri Lanka, statement said.
