Dr Harsh Vardhan condemns ostracisation of doctors, paramedics amid COVID-19 pandemic

Union Minister of Health and Family Dr Harsh Vardhan on Tuesday stated that reports of doctors and paramedics being ostracised from ir residential complexes and societies are 'disturbing.' This comes after several reports of doctors and paramedics being secluded from ir communities in Delhi, ida, Warangal, and Chennai due to ir line of duty had emerged. Taking to Twitter, Union Health Minister said that doctors and staff are taking all precautions to ensure y are t carriers of infection in any way and urged people to motivate m.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had also earlier called out landlords forcing paramedics to vacate ir house. Kejriwal stated that behaviour is wrong and doctors are risking ir lives to save or lives. Taking to Twitter, he also asked for contact number of landlords doing so to persuade m.

Earlier, Air India and IndiGo airlines had also alleged that ir employees are being ostracized due to ir line of duty and despite taking all precautions in wake of Coronavirus pandemic.

Coronavirus impact

Due to outbreak of deadly virus, world ecomy at large is under an attack. Indian ecomy has also suffered a massive setback due to pandemic. stock markets have hit a record rock bottom with a double circuit in a month. 

As a preventive measure of lockdown, government and private sector organisations, have been shut or operating at bare minimum capacity. PM Modi has anunced a formation of an Ecomic Response Task Force that would curb impact of outbreak on ecomy and will also bail out those citizens who have been affected by deadly outbreak.
