Amid scare of vel Coronavirus, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan reviewed status of preparedness regarding coronavirus with senior officers of Health Ministry on Tuesday. He has appealed citizens to t panic, confirming that virus has t yet come to India. Vardhan also assured that government has taken all precautionary measures and have also started rmal scanning at airports. He also mentioned that government is in contact with Chinese authorities to bring back Indians from China. 

Speaking to media Varshan said, " Indian government was first to start precautionary measures for virus. From December, government has been preparing to deal with virus. People travelling from china are being rmal screening at over 20 airports in country. If any person is suspected to have symptoms y are taken under observation at isolated wards. samples are later sent to NIB lab which was earlier only at Pune, but w four new labs facilities have been me in Delhi, Mumbai etc. re is thing to panic, coronavirus has t come to India. We have taken all precautionary measures. All hospitals have been asked to make isolation wards, we have launched a helpline number."

"I appeal to citizens if you witness any mir symptoms or you are in touch with anyone who has been to China in last one months please contact us through helpline number we will send our surveillance officials and get you mitted and tested. Prime Minister Modi and all senior officials are also monitoring this issue. We have taken all measures to prevent this virus to enter country. We are in contact with Chinese authorities to bring back Indians from China. Once y are brought back y will be kept in quarantine for 2 weeks and necessary medical facilities will be provided to m," he ded.
