On Saturday, after Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad made an open call for threat that he will repeat a 'Bhima Koregaon-like violence' in the country if the Constitution is tampered with, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said that the NIA must be asked to monitor Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and the Bhim Army chief.

"Congress is losing ground day by day and they know it will be a death blow if they lose this elections. And therefore now they are getting desperate and this resort to violence by a group which has only demonstrated the mayhem they can cause. I think the time has come to ask the NIA to monitor Priyanka and this character and see that they don't disrupt the elections and they could have connections with forces abroad who sort of distort the fairness of polls and this is a very serious development and I am happy you have brought it on record," he said
