Drone Carrying Heroin Recovered In Punjab’s Tarn Taran
Two suspected packets of heroin were recovered by the Border Security Force (BSF) during the search operation along the Punjab's Tarn Taran border.

According to BSF, the packets were discovered at 9:45 pm in the border area near Naushera Dhalla village on Sunday.
The packets were wrapped in yellow adhesive tape secured with black tape, and each packet also had an improvised iron ring and two illuminating sticks attached. The total weight of the suspected heroin was 1.146 kilograms.
On September 12, a joint operation by the BSF and Punjab Police led to the recovery of a drone carrying a significant quantity of heroin in the Tarn Taran district. After deploying technical countermeasures to neutralize the drone intrusion at the Tarn Taran border, the BSF and Punjab Police conducted a search operation. This effort resulted in the discovery of an assembled quadcopter and a large packet of suspected heroin, weighing 6.230 kg, in a farming field near Gilpan village. The heroin was wrapped in yellow adhesive tape and included an improvised loop along with two illuminating sticks.
