Chautala urges MHRD to include Climate Change & sustainability Classes in schools

Dushyant Chautala urged the Union Minister of HRD, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to include climate change sustainability as subjects in the education curriculum

Global climate change has alrey h observable effects on environment. Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala urged Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank to include climate change and sustainability as subjects in education curriculum. Taking to Twitter, Chautala released a press te stating major challenges being faced by developed countries and how it impacts health of every citizen.

"Keeping in view fact that climate change is one of major challenges being faced by developing countries including us, which has severe impact on health of every citizen, refore climate change and sustainability classes as a pan of curriculum in education policy should be introduced throughout country," a press te by Chautala on Saturday re.

Furr citing example of Venice, he stated that Italy has become first country to have 'Climate Change and sustainability Classes' compulsory in school to explore possibility to combat problem. He also raised concern over issue of increasing pollution in  national capital region (NCR) region "which h converted whole region as gas chamber" (sic), in letter written to Union Minister.

Venice hit by second-worst high tide

city of Venice was hit by second-highest tide recorded on vember 12. historic basilica and many of city's square and alleyways have reportedly been flooded and are underwater. According to international media reports Saint Mark's Square was submerged by more than one meter of water and jacent Saint Mark's Basilica was flooded for sixth time in 1,200 years.
