Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday filed a charge sheet against former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Congress senior leer Moti Lal Vora. case in which leers have been chargesheeted are case of Panchkula land allotment to Congress promoted Associated Journals Limited (AJL). chargesheet has been filed before special judge of PMLA, Panchkula. chargesheet states that Bhoopinder Singh and Vora were directly involved in activity connected with acquisition, possession or projection that resulted in irregularities. y alleged irregularities and money laundering case is  related to C-17, Sector-6 in Panchkula, by Hooda government in 1992 to AJL.

ED has attached property and PMLA ordered confirmation of attachments. money laundering case pertains to alleged irregularities in allotment of a plot, located at C-17, Sector-6 in Panchkula, by Hooda government in 1992 to AJL. AJL is controlled by senior Congress leers, including members of Gandhi family. group runs National Herald newspaper. ED has alrey attached plot, under PMLA, estimated to be valued at Rs 64.93 crore. "Hooda favoured AJL by granting m three undue extensions for construction in said plot from May, 2008-May 10, 2012 until AJL completed construction in year 2014," ED said in a statement.

ncy charged that Hooda allotted pot to AJL by "blatantly misusing his official position". former Haryana chief minister, it alleged, "dishonestly allotted said plot afresh in guise of re-allotment to AJL at original rates plus interest in violation of necessary conditions and policy of HUDA (Haryana Urban Development Authority) vide order dated August 28, 2005."  ED filed a criminal complaint of money laundering in this case in 2016 based on a CBI FIR, which h taken over investigation into case at request of BJP government of Haryana, and criminal FIRs filed by Haryana vigilance bureau.

Central Bureau of Investigation has alrey filed a charge sheet against Hooda and ors in this case. plot was allotted to AJL first in 1982. But allotment was revoked by estate officer of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) by an order in October, 1992 as AJL did t comply with conditions of allotment letter, ED said. ncy h questioned two Congress leers in this case last year.

Hooda slams Congress on Kashmir issue

Meanwhile on August 19, supporting Modi government's move to abrogate article 370, Hooda said he would t compromise on patriotism and self-respect while dressing an election campaign rally in Haryana. "I was born in a patriotic family, those who oppose (abrogation of #Article370), I want to tell m "usulon par jahan aanch aaye, vahan takrana zaruri hai, jo zinda hai to zinda dikhna zaruri hai". "When government does something right I support m. Many of my colleagues opposed decision to abrogate Article370, my party has lost its way, it's t same Congress it used to be. When it comes to patriotism & self-respect, I'll t compromise with anyone," he ded backing government. He also stated that Haryana has given many soldiers for Indian Army while saying that BJP Haryana government should t hide behind Kashmir debate while campaigning for upcoming elections.
