Baba Siddique’s tribute post to Ratan Tata has gone viral after NCP leer was shot de in Mumbai on Wednesday at 9:30 PM. In post, Siddique h written, “End of an Era.” 

Tata Group’s chairman emeritus and veteran industrialist Ratan Tata died at a city hospital late on October ,9, 2024.

Tata, who led salt-to-software conglomerate to new heights, was 86. A recipient of Pma Vibhushan, he bread his last at south Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.

Tata's passing away sent entire country into a state of mourning. As soon as news of Ratan Tata passing away broke, tributes started to pour in and one of m was late NCP Leer Baba Siddiqui. Siddiqui shared picture of industrialist and captioned it with 'End of An Era'.

Mumbai Police Arrests Two Suspects

Two persons were arrested immediately after incident that took place outside his MLA son Zeeshan Siddiqui's office near Colgate ground in Nirmal Nagar, y ded.

In a condolence message on X, deputy Chief Minister and Nationalist Congress Party chief Ajit Pawar described attack as extremely unfortunate and condemnable.

"I was shocked on learning that he died in this incident," Pawar said, ding that he h lost a good friend and colleague.

"We have lost a leer who fought for minority community and championed secularism," he said, ding that a thorough probe would be conducted into attack.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde earlier said Mumbai police commissioner Vivek Phansalkar h told him that two alleged shooters have been taken into custody.
