EXCLUSIVE | From hailing the Gadchiroli attack to spilling beans on the funding angle. Here’s the shocking Maoist letter

After the sensational letter suggesting a plan to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi in “another Rajiv Gandhi type incident”, Republic TV has accessed another shocking letter which exposes the involvement of Maoists in Gadchiroli and Surjagarh attacks. The letter, which is not addressed to any specific person but to the overall Maoist cadre in general, details that the attacks carried out by them, "in the guidance of Naxal sympathiser Varavara Rao and comrade Surendra Gadling have gotten them national-level fame".

“In last 3-4 months, we have gotten national-level popularity for whatever actions we took based on the guidance provided by our veteran comrade Varavara Rao and our legal contributor comrade Surendra Gadling. Especially in December, the attacks carried out by our comrades of Gadchiroli and Chhattisgarh in Surjagarh, despite being less in numbers, brought us a lot of fame,” says the letter.

The letter also boasts about the successful implementation of the attacks despite being less in numbers.

“The publicity and the impression on our enemies who thought our strength to be 500 helped us in establishing our presence. Similar actions which could get us more popularity have to be carried out in future days. Varavara Rao has given the responsibility of successfully carry out similar attacks and spreading the message to the comrades in jungle to Surendra Gadling. Varavara Rao has arranged for funds for the same and Surendra will provide you the fund. Take steps while keeping in touch with him. In the meetings to be held in the months of March and April, Varavara and Surendra will personally guide you. We hope their guidance will be a landmark to further out our revolutionary movement” read the letter.

Earlier in the day, Republic TV has accessed a chilling letter that suggests a plan to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi in “another Rajiv Gandhi type incident” by “targeting his roadshows”. 

"We are thinking along the lines of another Rajiv Gandhi type incident. It sounds suicidal and there is a good chance that we might fail but we feel that the party PB/CC must deliberate over our proposal," says the letter.

The letter also charts out a plan to target PM Modi's roadshows as it says, "targeting his road shows could be an effective strategy."
