Former Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta had recently accused actor Nana Patekar of harassment, while the duo were shooting for a song sequence in the film 'Horn OK Pleasss'. The actress had alleged that Nana Patekar wanted to do intimidate steps with her in a song, which he initially was not supposed to be a part of.  Post the incident in 2008, the actress had filed a complaint, but it reached to no conclusion. The actress had moved to the United States of America post the incident. Recently, after 10 years, Dutta returned  to Mumbai and made headlines after she once again shed light on the past incident. In a recent interview, when she was questioned whether the #MeToo moment will take place in India, she said that , it will not happen until she gets justice for what happened to her 10 years ago and went on to narrate the incident.

Recently, in an exclusive conversation with Arnab Goswami, editor-in-chief of Republic TV, the  former actress spoke in detail about the incident and the allegations made by her and the claims made by people she has accused. When asked whether she had planned to speak about the harassment on her return to India. She said, "No, I had no thoughts in that direction. Before I took the flight, my concerns were, what kind of wardrobe I will be having in India and how hot it is going to be there."

She further said, "The tri state area of USA had a very harsh winter and we were looking for the Summer to do all the outdoor activities. I was between jobs and home and had  recently moved to the suburbs and wanted to get my own apartment. However, the apartment did not work and thought of looking at it after a few months. My mother told me to come home, since they would not be able to come to the USA this year. She told me to stay over for a few months and then go back for the apartment."

In addition to Nana Patekar, she also accused choreographer Ganesh Acharya of allegedly forcing her into doing intimidate steps with the actor.

Meanwhile, Tanushree Dutta has received two legal notice, one each from Nana Patekar and Vivek Agnihotri. She had accused Vivek Agnihotri of asking her to strip naked on the sets of the film 'Chocolate' in 2005. Dutta has been receiving multiple threats from the political party MNS and Nana Patekar, and is currently under police protection. Nana Patekar and Ganesh Acharya will be holding a press conference on October 8.
