Expect Big News On Semiconductors In Coming Days: Israel Envoy To India

Israel's envoy to India Reuven Azar remarks have come ahead of the big semiconductor event to be held from September 11 to 13 in Greater Noida.

New Delhi: Israel's envoy to India Reuven Azar on Tuesday said that they are expecting a big news when it comes to the semiconductors in the coming days adding they have something in the pipeline.

On close relations between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli PM Netanyahu, Reuven Azar said, "Prime Ministers have only spoken recently last week. We feel the warmth of this relationship..."

When asked if he sees India's role in the conflict (Israel & Palestine) resolution, Israel's envoy to India Reuven Azar said, "This would be up to India to decide, increasing the importance of the global role of India is obvious and it is starting to manifest also in the middle east. We can see not only in great relations between PM Modi and PM Netanyahu but also the initiative we saw last year of the growing bonds between India and the UAE and the way they have been concluding agreements that would allow India to connect better to the Gulf it also serves as a hub to connect east and west..."

On counter-terrorism cooperation, Israel's envoy to India Reuven Azar said, "We are cooperating in many ways, most of the ways we cooperate we are not announcing to terrorists, we have to be prudent about it, we have to be responsible about it but rest assure it is happening. The question is whether beyond security and intelligence cooperation we can create diplomatic effort to isolate terrorist, here we have challenge because most of the times we are outnumbered in the UN and other international forum by countries that are actually afraid of terrorist, question is how many countries you are going to convince to join us in this effort to isolate both terrorist and perpetrators, those countries that are sponsoring terrorism they should be isolated..."
