Farmer unions to discuss Centre's proposal, contend 'stay on agrarian laws not a solution'
Meanwhile, Hannan Mollah revealed that the farmer unions had raised strong objections to the 'fake' cases registered by the NIA against 'farmers'.

After 11th round of Centre-farmer talks, farmer union leers anunced that y would hold a meeting over Centre's proposals and decide on future course of action, ding that a temporary stay on laws was 't a solution.' As per farmers, a formal reply to Centre's proposals will be given on January 22.
"y told us y will stay laws for a year or so, but staying laws is t a solution. But still, we will hold a meeting over proposal that Centre has given us tomorrow. meeting will be held at around 1.30-2 pm," said a farmer union leer.
"Government has said it is rey to suspend laws for one and half a year. In reply, farmers said that re is point in suspending laws and me it clear that we want repeal of laws," said ar farmer leer.
Asked Centre to withdraw NIA cases: Mollah
Meanwhile, All India Kisan Sabha General Secretary, Hannan Mollah revealed that farmer unions h raised strong objections to 'fake' cases registered by NIA against 'farmers'. "We asked Centre to withdraw fake cases registered by NIA against farmers. In response, government said y are looking into matter and asked us to provide names of leers against whom new cases, if any, have been registered," he stated.

"Government said that it is rey to file an affidavit in court to effect that it would put implementation of laws on hold for one and half a year. y also said that a committee would be formed on MSP and laws and y would implement recommendations of committee. We'll hold a meeting tomorrow and take a decision on proposal. We are 500 farmers organizations, tomorrow we will discuss give our reply on January 22," Mollah stated.

11th round of Centre-farmer talks
During 11th round of talks, Union Government proposed to put off three farm laws for 1.5 years assuring that y would file an affidavit in court to delay its implementation. In dition to this, Centre also offered to form a committee to decide future of 3 Laws and bring a resolution over MSP issue.
"During discussions, we said that government is rey to put on hold Farm Laws for one or one and half year. I'm happy that farmer unions have taken this very seriously and said that y would consider it tomorrow and convey ir decision on January 22," said Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.
farmers have been protesting against Farmers' Produce Tre and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement of Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020 and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
