Firearms Unit Operating Under Guise of Food Plates Manufacturing Busted In Bihar, Two Arrested

Munger: Two persons were arrested after police busted an improvised firearms unit which was operating under guise of a food plates manufacturing unit at a house in Bihar ’s Munger. 

accused have been identified as Monazir Hussain (27) and MD Nasim (38).

"Last night based on a specific intelligence developed by STF, Kolkata Police, a team of STF KP, Bihar STF, and Tarapur PS conducted a joint raid in house of a person named MD Monazir Hussain situated at Gazipur village, in Munger, Bihar,” police said. 

Illegal Firearms Production Took Place Inside House

According to police, re was a secret underground chamber inside house from where improvised firearms were being manufactured. 

Operating Under Guise of Food Plates Manufacturing 

According to Special Task Force, a seizure of six pieces of 7mm Pistol body, six pieces of Pistol butt, one la machine, one milling machine, one drilling machine, one grinding and polishing machine have been me. 

“ owner MD Monazir Hussain, along with his bror-in-law Md Nasim and ir associate Irsh Mallick were running firearms manufacturing unit under guise of a food plate manufacturing unit,” officials said. 

According to officials, this is 14th such Arms unit busted in Bihar and Jharkhand in last 3 years. Accordingly, a specific case is being registered at Tarapur PS, Munger in this regard.
