First Commercial Flight Between Pithoragarh And Delhi Lands Successfully At Naini Saini Airport
This flight was flagged off by Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami. The border district was already linked by air to Dehradun and Haldwani.

Pithoragarh: border district of Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand was linked by air to Delhi on Thursday with first commercial flight from national capital landing at Naini Saini airport here at 11 am. " 42-seater Alliance Air aircraft will run three days a week from Delhi's IGI Airport to Pithoragarh. Today was inaugural flight," Naini Saini airport manr Deepak Saini said.
He said 21 passengers including senior BJP leer Ganesh Bhandari reached Pithoragarh from Delhi by inaugural flight.

In inaugural flight from Pithoragarh, 27 passengers including Union minister of state Ajay Tamta went to Delhi, he said. inaugural flight was flagged off by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami from Delhi, Saini said.
A video of water cann salute for flight was shared by X handle of Pithoragarh Police with a caption that says, “Water cann salute by fire brige team on start of air service between Pithoragarh and Delhi.”

BJP leer and former Maharashtra goverr Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Pithoragarh MLA Mayukh Singh Mahar praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and chief minister for launch of flight operations between Pithoragarh and Delhi.
