Five Sri Lankan fishermen were on Thursday arrested for allegedly fishing in the Indian territorial waters by the Navy.

Five Sri Lankan fishermen were on Thursday arrested for allegedly fishing in Indian territorial waters by Navy.

fisherfolks from Thalaimannar in island nation crossed internatinal border and were fishing on Indian side this morning when a team of naval personnel on patrol duty arrested m and brought m to Dhanushkodi along with ir boat, marine police said.

y were handed over to Marine police, who registered a case and are investigating. This is second such incident in less than a month.
