Serious violations of social distancing rms and or guidelines issued by Central and state government were witnessed in Okhla Mandi in national capital. Okhla mandi is one of largest wholesale markets in Delhi. This market caters to a huge chunk of vegetable and fruit needs of national capital. Scores of wholesale vendors and shopkeepers purchase ir stock from here.

As Republic TV reached spot, it was witnessed that very few were following rules set by government during ongoing COVID19 scare. Many were seen without masks, meanwhile several were found sitting in clusters in very close proximities. Ar disturbing fact that came to light was that a food outlet was found functional in vicinity. Several were seen eating at spot.

Govt mandates social distancing

Ministry of Home Affairs and state government in ir guidelines have strictly prohibited all restaurants and food outlets (big or small) from operating. With certain vaccine or cure being developed for vel Coronavirus, social distancing, wearing masks, washing and sanitizing hands has been vised by government to combat spre of vel virus.
