Foreign Female Tourist Dies After Falling Ill While Visiting Taj Mahal

Agra: A foreign woman tourist died after falling ill while visiting Taj Mahal in Agra on Saturday. woman, whose identity was not disclosed, collapsed while climbing ramp leing to ticket counter.

Authorities reported that she was part of a group of tourists and was rushed to monument's gate in a wheelchair after her condition worsened. 

Despite assistance, she was declared de outside iconic site.

According to Syed Areeb Ahm, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) for Taj Security, woman’s death occurred before she could enter monument. 

He stated, “ unfortunate incident happened near ramp to ticket counter. Medical assistance was provided immediately, but she could not be saved.”
