Udaipur: Forest officials catch leopard after it creates panic at City Palace
A shocking incident triggered fears when a leopard was reported inside the City Palace in Udaipur on Feb 3. It resulted in a complete halt on tourist movements.

A shocking incident triggered fears when a leopard was reported inside City Palace in Udaipur on February 3. It resulted in a complete halt on tourist movements inside palace. Rajkumar Singh, CCF, Wildlife, told media that leopard entered palace during late hours of night on Sunday and went straight inside gallery. A security officer suddenly came across it and immediately shut door of gallery to make sure it doesn't come out. forest officials were immediately called to spot and y camped inside hotel on Sunday night.

According to reports, tourist movement was stopped in palace. forest officials tried to sedate leopard but y failed as leopard was located at a far off distance. forest officials n placed a c near crystal gallery in which a goat was put to lure leopard. leopard was finally caught and tranquilised. pictures of leopard were shared by a Twitter user on social media platform. It took almost 22 hours to catch leopard.

Leopard caught in Jaipur
Similarly, forest department in Jaipur caught a wild leopard who escaped from Lal Kothi area in capital city of Rajasthan on December 13. According to reports, search operation lasted for about 21 hours before animal was tranquilised and put inside a c. A joint team comprising of officials from forest and police department were searching for leopard since it was spotted near Takhteshahi ro, Jaipur.
According to reports, two schools were shut down in pink city, SMS and Subodh public school in order to ensure safety of students. Officials issued a warning for all residents to keep doors and windows of ir houses shut during night, requesting m to immediately inform police control room or closest police station to ir area of residence.
