Gambhir slams Kejriwal's Odd-Even scheme, calls it 'political gimmick'

BJP’s MP Gautam Gambhir commented on Odd-Even rule which is going to return in Delhi from vember 4 to vember 15. Gambhir claimed that it was a political gimmick and that Delhi government has t done anything in past 4 years. He ded that Centre has done a great job for pollution in national capital and that Arvind Kejriwal is "just taking credit" for things even which are out of his jurisdiction.
Arvind Kejriwal on reintroducing Odd-Even rule
Delhi Chief Minister and President of Aam Ami Party (AAP), Arvind Kejriwal, on Friday, h said that Odd-Even vehicle rule is all set to return to national capital from vember 4 to vember 15. He also said that move is expected to reduce pollution in area by 13-15%. While talking to media, Kejriwal said that he has received a lot of suggestions for pollution control from public and that based on se suggestions, AAP government has come up with a seven-point action plan.

Soon after Arvind Kejriwal anunced Odd-Even scheme, Minister for Ro Transport& Highways, Nitin Gkari, commented on CM's plan and declared that move was t needed at this moment. He ded that Ring Ro built by Centre has significantly reduced pollution in city. He ensured that Central govt's planned schemes will reduce pollution in Delhi in next two years and make it pollution-free. Delhi CM Kejriwal is sure about his seven-point action plan of pollution control in national capital.

What is Odd-Even scheme?
In Odd-Even scheme, vehicles whose registration number ends on even digits are allowed on even dates and those with odd digits will be allowed to drive on odd dates. timing for odd even scheme in previous phases was from 8 am to 8 pm. violators of rule were fined up to Rs 2000. Kejriwal government also exempted two-wheelers, women-only vehicles, CNG, hybrid and electric vehicles, emergency vehicles and VIPs in previous phases. However, Delhi Chief Minister anunced that y will exempt only emergency vehicle this time.
