Gang Threat in Delhi? Jeweller Receives Dire Extortion Calls From Kala Jathedi Gang

New Delhi: A jeweller in national capital's Rohini area has alleged that he has received extortion calls from an individual who claimed to be a member of criminal Kala Jadi gang, police said .
According to Delhi Police, “ caller claimed to be a member of Kala Jadi gang and demanded extortion money from jeweller. jeweller recorded caller's conversation, a video of which has surfaced and gone viral on social media.”

" caller spoke to jeweller for a few minutes. In recorded conversation jeweller's wife could be heard pleing before caller, saying that ir family did t have money and was in debt but caller still threatened entire family with dire consequences if y failed to pay up," said police.
jeweller during an investigation told police that first call from accused was received by his wife on vember 6, wherein caller threatened his wife and demanded extortion.

jeweller and his wife received second call on vember 7, again demanding extortion in name of gangster Kala Jadi and threatening dire consequences for jeweller and his wife.
Following this, jeweller lodged a complaint at Aman Vihar police station. matter is being investigated and furr details on matter are awaited.

Earlier, a Delhi-based music producer received an extortion call of Rs 5 crore from a caller who identified himself as a member of Lawrence Bishi and Goldi Brar Gang, said police.
victim, identified as Amandeep Batra (39) a resident of Greater Kailash, said that he received a call in which caller identified himself as a member of Lawrence Bishi and Goldi Brar group and demanded amount.

victim in his FIR alleged that caller threatened him to provide Rs 5 crore rupees and also gave death threats, stating that if he failed to do so, he would send goons to his residence to get him killed.
Amandeep furr stated that he me a PCR call on 112 and informed about incident.
