Tributes Paid To Ratan Tata At Rishikesh's Parmarth Niketan By Performing Ganga Aarti

Ratan Tata, 86, a Padma Vibhushan recipient, died after a brief illness at a Mumbai hospital late on Wednesday night.

Rishikesh: Tributes were paid to veteran industrialist Ratan Tata at Rishikesh's Parmarth Niketan, by performing Ganga Aarti for departed soul. Ratan Tata, one of India's most loved industrialist, a visionary, who rose Tata to new heights died at age of 86 in a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday. He was accorded a state -funeral.

Ratan Tata's final rites performed with full state honours 

final rites of renowned industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata were performed with full state honours at a central Mumbai crematorium on Thursday evening. Mumbai police paid tribute to Tata with a gun salute.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah , his cabinet colleague Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde , his deputy Devendra Fnavis , Congress leer and former CM Sushilkumar Shinde, among ors, were also present.

last rites were performed as per Parsi trition, one of priests present at crematorium said. After funeral, re will be three more days of rituals which will be conducted at late industrialist's bungalow in Colaba, south Mumbai, he said.
