Gas leak from ONGC pipeline triggers panic in South Tripura

Agartala, Aug 6 (PTI) Gas leak from a pipeline of state-run ONGC at Dhananjoynagar in South Tripura district triggered panic on Friday, officials said.

Locals saw in morning that gas was gushing out of pipeline.

y immediately informed Fire Services and local authorities.

A team of technical experts from ONGC was rushed to spot and leakage was plugged, bringing situation under control, officials said.

Belonia Sub-divisional Magistrate Manik Lal Das, who visited site, said situation in area is normal. PTI JOY SOM SOM
