Chennai: Medical Student Held For Planting Spy Camera In The Bathroom To Videograph Woman Tenant

Chennai:  A 36-year-old medical student pursuing Post Gruation in Dental Surgery is now cooling his heels behind bars allegedly on charges of placing a spy camera inside rental house and recording video of a woman tenant. 

 Police said that accused identified as Ibrahim was taken into custody by Chennai City police after couple living as a tenant approached police and lodged a plaint in this regard. 

As per probe officer, incident came to light when woman tenant grew suspicious after noticing a pen lying in ir bathroom in corner. She took spy camera to her husband and sought clarification. After couple learnt about hidden camera, couple immediately took it to Royapuram police station and narrated entire sequence. 

Taking cognizance of same, Royapuram police registered a complaint in this connection. According to police, Ibrahim h used a spy camera Pen to record female tenant. Police furr revealed that Ibrahim has been studying Post gruation in Dental surgery (MDS) and has been living in Royapuram area of Chennai. While he stayed in his own house, he rented a portion of his house to a family.

On Tuesday evening, police during probe also found out that Ibrahim h not just filmed and watched private videos but also attempted to uplo m on social media. Based on evidence and plaint, Royapuram police arrested Ibrahim on Tuesday night.
