MP: Stones turns out to be dinosaurs

After eggs were revealed, a resident of Plya village, Vesta Mandaloi said, "We used to offer coconuts to Bhilat Baba and performed puja. Villagers also used to offer goats during rain." However, when a team of experts visited village, y found that stones were million-year-old dinosaur eggs.

"We have a dinosaur park that was built in 2011. Many times people in villages around re find such fossils and start worshipping m," according to Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) AS Solanki. A centre of fossil collection and conservation is in Baag area of Dhar district. Known as Dinosaur Fossil National Park, it stores various old-era fossils. Over 250 such dinosaur eggs have so far been found in district. It is believed that re were a good number of dinosaurs in Narma Valley of Mhya Presh. Scientists estimate that dinosaurs roamed Earth about 175 million years ago. Thousands of se species n became extinct around 65 million years ago.
