Hisar: In a shocking incident at Sapra Hospital on Rajgarh Road in Haryana's Hisar, a patient admitted to the ICU was allegedly held captive and assaulted by hospital staff, including a doctor, a nursing officer, and other personnel. The incident reportedly occurred early Wednesday morning.

The complaint was lodged by Darshan, a resident of Kalayat in Kaithal, who is the patient's son. Following the complaint, the Civil Lines police station registered a case against five individuals, including the doctor, nursing officer, and a security guard, on charges of assault and issuing death threats.

According to Darshan Singh, his father, Krishna, suffers from a liver ailment and was admitted to Sapra Hospital on June 18 by his cousin, Ashok. After a medical examination, Krishna was placed in the ICU, where his cousin Sumit was looking after him. On the early morning of June 19, hospital staff allegedly assaulted Krishna and threatened to kill him. Krishna informed his son about the incident later that morning.

This is probably a nurse or paramedical staff, physically abusing a patient under his care.

Such people are unfit to practice in healthcare and he should be prosecuted under criminal law!!
