A family has reported theft of gold ornaments valued at Rs 63 lakhs while travelling to Udupi on CST-Mangalore train.

Udupi (Karnataka): A family has reported ft of gold ornaments valued at Rs 63 lakhs while travelling to Udupi on CST-Mangalore train, on Monday.

ft came to light at Indrali railway station on November 16 when family members found that ir baggage was forced open and gold jewellery stolen, y said.

According to police, family h boarded train on November 15 and arrived next morning at Udupi.

In complaint, victim stated that ft must have been carried out between Panvel and Kankavali station in Maharashtra.

A case has been registered and investigation is on, y ded.
