Governor position weak, can't speak heart out: J&K Guv Satya Pal Malik
Addressing the convocation ceremony of a university, J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik stated in a light-hearted manner that the position of a governor was “weak”.

Malik also accused intelligence ncies of t telling truth to Centre and state ministration. Furrmore, he spoke about his candid interaction with many students in state.

Malik said, " position of a Goverr is weak. This poor thing does t have authority to hold press conferences or speak our hearts out. For three days, I remained anxious wondering wher my comments have t anyed anyone in Delhi.”
J&K Goverr ded, "After coming here, I didn't take input from intelligence units. y don't tell truth to Delhi or us. I spoke to 150-200 students and asked which students stand up for National Anm. y said whole problem is of people between 13 to 30 years whose dreams have been broken and who have been misled and incited. y said we don't want Hurriyat, mainstream parties, Delhi government or automy. I was also told that way to 'Jannat' (parise) is by getting killed.”
'Crushed dreams of youths'
Maintaining that mainstream leers of J&K h pushed youth towards militancy, J&K Goverr alleged that y conveniently kept ir own children away from this mess.

“Politicians, bureaucrats, affluent and powerful have crushed dreams of youths and destroyed ir lives. society leers, religious preachers, Moulvis, Hurriyat and mainstream parties have used ir influence to get children of ordinary Kashmiris killed. ne of m have lost ir own child and body from ir families joined terrorism," he remarked.
