Sixteen-year-old environmental activist Greta Thunberg says she plans to attend a youth-lead climate rally in North Carolina this week.

Thunberg tweeted on vember 6 that she will join strike on vember 8 at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center. Thunberg gained international attention for a speech at United Nations Climate Action Summit in September.

News outlets report protest Friday is being organized by student-led N.C. Climate Strike movement. Hundreds of people attended a rally group hosted in September, same day millions of people around world skipped school and work to urge government action on climate change.

At UN Climate Action Summit earlier this year, dressing a room full of world leers, climate activist Greta Thunberg asked, "How dare you?" saying that 'we' ( future generation) would 'never forgive' m if y failed her generation on climate change.
She said, "How dare you think that this can be sold as business as usual and some technical solutions. With today's emissions levels, that remaining CO2 budget will be entirely gone in less than eight and a half years. re will be solutions or plans presented in lines with se figures here today. Because se numbers are too uncomfortable and you are still t mature eugh to tell it like it is," said Greta Thunberg.

But young people are starting to understand your betrayal, eyes of all future generations are upon you and if you choose to fail us, I say we will never forgive you, we will t let you get away with this, right here, right w is where we draw line. world is waking up and change is coming.
