UP Groom Calls Off Wedding as Bride's Lover Sends Intimate Photos, Videos During Marriage Rituals

Amroha: In a dramatic wave of events, a wedding in Uttar Pradesh's Amroha was abruptly cancelled as the rituals were about to conclude. According to reports, the wedding was called off by the groom after he received a call from bride's alleged lover, who threatened him and asked him to leave the bride as they were in love with each other.

While in the call, the groom asked for proof, following which he was sent many pictures and videos of the bride by the caller, who has been identified as Kamal Singh. 

Singh sent him videos and Photos in which the bride along with the man were seen in hotel rooms and other locations. Once the groom saw the pictures and videos, he instantly cancelled the wedding, leaving the guests and family members shocked.

An FIR has been filed against Kamal Singh, as the wedding procession returned.

The incident reportedly happened after the girl's marriage procession arrived in Adampur, the ‘baraatis’ had just completed a meal and only the final rituals including the ‘pheras’ and ‘vidaai’ were left. The rituals were stopped due to the phone call by the alleged boyfriend of the bride. 

The police have initiated an inquiry and registered a complaint in connection to this matter.
