Group of trekkers stuck in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur, rescue efforts on
An Indian Air Force helicopter was sent to rescue them, but it could not land at the site due to adverse weather on Thursday evening, an official said.

A group of trekkers from West Bengal, were stuck near Rupin Pass on way to Sangla valley in Himachal Presh's Kinnaur district, an official said on Thursday.
Soon after trekkers were reportedly stranded, an Indian Air Force helicopter was sent to rescue m, but it could t land at site due to verse wear on Thursday evening, official said.

rescue operation would resume Friday at 5 am, he ded.
Trekker Sudha Bhattachargee was also reported to have injured her leg, official said.

trekkers were on ir way to Sangla valley in Kinnaur district via Rupin Pass from Dhaula in Uttarkashi district of neighbouring Uttarakhand, he ded.

Shimla Deputy Commissioner Amit Kashyap earlier got information about stranded trekkers and he brought it to tice of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur.
chief minister directed ditional Chief Secretary (Revenue) Shrikant Baldi to ensure ir rescue, he ded.

Shrikant Baldi requested IAF to rescue stranded trekkers, following which a helicopter was pressed into service, he said.
