GTA accounts should be audited: WB governor Jagdeep Dhankhar

financial accounts of Gorkhaland Territorial ministration (GTA) should be audited, West Bengal Goverr Jagdeep Dhakhar said on Tuesday.

Speaking to press at railway station here while travelling to Kolkata after his tour of Darjeeling, Dhankhar said that political freedom in Hills is t equal for everyone.

GTA is an automous self-governing body that oversees development of Hills.

Those owing allegiance to present regime in state have rights to carry out political activities in Hills, while ors do t have such freedom, goverr alleged.

Dhankhar said re are ample opportunities in Darjeeling and at same time re are problems galore.
