Gujarat: BSF holds two-day pension adalat in Gandhinagar

The Gujarat frontier of the Border Security Force (BSF) is holding a two-day 'pension adalat', aimed at speedy grievance redressal for pensioners from the force, an official said on Friday.

Gujarat frontier of Border Security Force (BSF) is holding a two-day 'pension alat', aimed at speedy grievance redressal for pensioners from force, an official said on Friday.

special campaign was launched by BSF Inspector General (IG) Gujarat frontier G S Malik on Thursday to dress concerns of pensioners and ir dependents from Gujarat and Rajasthan frontiers, official said.

"Concerned BSF officers, including IG himself, can be contacted for pension-related issues and it will be resolved at earliest and will always be given top priority," BSF release said.

Six counters have been setup in BSF Gandhinagar campus to expedite process of completion of codal formalities of pensioners, correction in documents and clarification of pension-related doubts, release stated.

At least 100 pensioners and ir dependent family members turned up to have ir grievances resolved on first day of alat, an official said.
