A Gujarat man spotted a crocodile in his bathroom last week. Mahinder Padhiyar, who lives in Vadodara, woke up to some noise and when he went into his bathroom to check he was shocked to see a crocodile in one corner. Padhiyar immediately contacted the Wildlife Rescue Trust, a Vadodara based animal welfare organization, to capture the four-and-a-half long crocodile. A member of the rescue trust reportedly said that it was tough to rescue the reptile as it was dark and the crocodile was aggressive.
The crocodile was then captured by Manish Bisht and Krishna Gayakwad of Wildlife Rescue Trust. The operation lasted for about an hour. Arvind Pawar of the rescue trust believes that the crocodile entered the house from the nearby Vishwamitri River.
