Gurugram: 25-Year-Old Bouncer Shot Dead by Assailants Dressed as Delivery Agents

Gurugram: A 25-year-old man was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding assailants dressed as food and grocery delivery agents in Gurugram's Ullahwas village, police said on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Anuj a resident of Haryana's Kadarpur village. The incident happened around 9 pm on Friday when Anuj who worked as a bouncer at a private liquor outlet, was in the market area. The assailants, dressed in uniforms of Zomato and Blinkit, allegedly fired five bullets at Anuj before fleeing the scene.
Anuj was taken to a hospital but was declared dead on arrival. An FIR has been registered in the matter, and police are actively working to apprehend the suspects.
In a similar case, on 28 May, a resident of Kadergaon in Uttar Pradesh's Amethi police station area was allegedly killed near the Benipur. The incident took place near the Benipur canal on the Amethi-Sultanpur Road.
The deceased was identified as 45-year-old Ajay Singh.
Superintendent of Police Anup Kumar Singh said Ajay, was travelling to Kadergaon on a motorcycle with his friend Saurabh late on Friday. During this time, two people, including one Monu Pasi, attacked him. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Ajay succumbed to his injuries.
Ajay Singh was the sibling of Pawan Singh, the village head of Kadergaon. Singh said initial investigations revealed that the attackers had a prior dispute with Ajay Singh. Police have registered a case and are actively searching for the assailants.
A case has been filed and a search is underway for the attackers, he added.
