Gurugram Man, who was absconding after wife's 'murder', jumps from metro; Child rescued
The Gurugram Police were looking for the man after his 23-year-old woman Lakshmi Rawat was found dead in her house.

New Delhi: Gurugram man, who was absconding after his wife's death, died by suicide after jumping from a metro station in Ghaziabad district of UP on Monday morning. The incident was caught on camera. In the video, the man is seen standing close to the railing of the platform. Police recovered his body from the parking area in the service lane next to the metro station. The man has been identified as Gaurav Sharma.
For the unversed, the Gurugram Police were looking for the man after his 23-year-old woman Lakshmi Rawat was found dead in her house in the DLF Phase III area in a pool of blood with her two-year-old babysitting near her crying.
Gaurav was residing in a rented apartment in Gurugram's DLF area. He had shifted to the current house with his wife and kid around six months ago. Police said that he had reached the Kaushambi Metro Station at around 10:30 am today.
"We are investigating the matter from all angles. The cause behind the murder and suicide will be cleared soon," said Vikas Kaushik, ACP DLF.
