Gurugram: Massive Fire Breaks Out in Residential Building, 12 Rescued
Seeing the flames and the black smoke billowing from the building, some of the residents reached the terrace and screamed for help.

Gurugram: A massive fire broke out in a four-storey building in Krishna Nagar colony here on Saturday, prompting authorities to evacuate residents, including women, children and elderly, a fire official said.
No casualties were reported in incident, as per official.

According to fire official, incident occurred around 9 am in a residential building in Krishna Nagar Colony. Twelve people, including women, children and elderly, were trapped inside as fire broke out and spre.
Noticing flames and black smoke billowing from building, some of residents reached terrace and screamed for help. neighbours tried to help residents.

Upon receiving information, fire tenders were immediately sent and a rescue operation was launched. fire authorities rescued residents safely, official said.
Soon after, fire was brought under control. However, some of families lost ir valuables in incident.

cause of fire was suspected to be a short-circuit, but matter is under investigation.
