Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh lashed out at an Uruguayan diplomat who was caught flouting lockdown rms and arguing with police in Delhi on Sunday. Taking to Twitter, Harbhajan Singh slammed diplomat, questioning if she understood gravity of situation in India and need to take precautions seriously amid rising COVID cases. spin wizard lashed out at diplomat for obstructing officer from doing his duty and asked her to learn to respect frontline COVID warriors.

Diplomat flouts lockdown, argues with cops

Amid nationwide lockdown caused due to deadly coronavirus pandemic, an Uruguayan Diplomat was caught violating lockdown rules in Delhi's Vasant Vihar by Delhi Police on Saturday. She was caught cycling without wearing a face mask and gloves and when patrolling police officials tried to stop her she was seen arguing with m. police officer was accompanied by two lady constables at time of incident.

In video, one can see police requesting woman to follow guidelines given by MEA. But women in return was seen arguing with officials and was instead asking official to consult her Embassy over issue.  

"Some residents of Vasant Vihar also reached spot and informed me that being official of Resident Welfare Association (RWA) y are also trying to convince foreign nationals of Vasant Vihar, but y are t listening and roaming here," police official said.
