SAD delegation to meet Jaishankar over security of Sikhs in Pak, says Harsimrat Kaur Badal
Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that SAD delegation will be meeting EAM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to discuss the issue of security of Sikhs in Pakistan.

Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Bal on Monday said that a Shiromani Akali Dal (S) delegation will be meeting External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to discuss issue of security of Sikhs in Pakistan. Taking to microblogging site, Bal mentioned that delegation will be led by party president Sukhbir S Bal.
This statement of Bal comes after murder of Sikh youth in Peshawar and attack on Nankana Sahib Gurudwara in Pakistan.

India condemns killing of Sikh youth
"India strongly condemns targeted killing of mirity Sikh community member in Peshawar that follows recent despicable vandalism and desecration of holy Gurdwara Sri Janam Asthan at Nankana Sahib and unresolved case of abduction, forced conversion, and marri of a Sikh girl Jagjit Kaur," Ministry of External Affairs said.

It said government of Pakistan should act in defence of ir own mirities inste of "preaching sermons" about it to or countries.

External Affairs Ministry said members of mirity Sikh community in Pakistan have been subjected to acts of violence at holy city of Nankana Sahib, birthplace of Guru Nanak Dev. MEA furr ded that se reprehensible actions followed forcible abduction and conversion of a Sikh girl who was kidnapped from her home in city of Nankana Sahib in August last year.
