A total of 1,031 candidates contested in all 90 assembly constituencies, whose fate is locked in EVMs. voter turnout has been recorded at 67.9 per cent, with Ellenab topping charts at 80.61 per cent and Bkhal having lowest turnout at 48.27 percent. Now all eyes are on October 8.

BJP ’s Consecutive Victory To Power
BJP h won Haryana assembly polls in 2014 and 2019. In 2019 assembly elections, BJP won 40 seats, six short of a simple majority of 46 in 90-member House. saffron party formed government in a post-poll alliance with JJP and seven Independent MLAs. Manohar Lal Khattar became chief minister for second time, with JJP's Dushyant Chautala as deputy chief minister.
Khattar, who was replaced as Haryana CM by Nayab Singh Saini months before 2023 assembly polls, is now Union Minister, and JJP has since pulled out of alliance.
