Heavy rain lashes Nashik; power supply hit

Heavy unseasonal rain lashed urban and rural parts of Maharashtra's Nashik district on Thursday, causing water-logging in some areas of city and disrupting power supply.

Apartfrommaincityareas,Panchavati,Mhasrul, NashikRo,Amb,Satpur,CIDCO,Indiranagar, DeolaliCamp, Bhagurandjoininglocalities also receivedshowers.

Parts of Sinnar, Dewla and Niphtalukas, among ors, were also hit by unseasonal rain.

Duetorain,which started around 2.30 pm, power supplyinmost parts of city and district was briefly disrupted.

Many parts of city experienced water-logging, leing to traffic congestion in areas such as Bytco Point, Shalimar Chowk and Gangapur Ro.
