Here's how you can watch ISRO's Chandrayaan-2 Moon-landing with PM Modi

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is giving people a chance to witness the landing of Chandrayaan 2 on the Moon. 

Taking to social media, ISRO announced that it will give an opportunity to people who want to watch Chandrayaan 2 landing. In order to bag the ultimate opportunity, people are expected to participate in a space quiz that has been created by ISRO. The post was uploaded on Instagram by ISRO in their stories feature. The landing will also be watched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Apart from this, ISRO has also given a chance for people to send in their wishes for the mission. In another Instagram post, ISRO has said that people sending in wishes stand a chance to get featured on their posts. The users are required to upload a video on social media platforms with the hashtag #AllTheBestChandrayaan2. The best ones are likely to be featured on the website. Here's the Instagram post:

Earlier on August 12, ISRO Chairman Dr K Sivan said that Chandrayaan-2 is expected to reach the moon's orbit on August 20 and land on the lunar surface on September 7. Sivan was in Ahmedabad to take part in the birth centenary celebrations of Dr Vikram Sarabhai, regarded as the father of India's space program. The 3,850-kg Chandrayaan-2, a three-module spacecraft comprising orbiter, lander and rover had been launched and inserted into orbit on July 22. It is currently on its way to the Moon after having completed all its orbit raising manoeuvres.

Sivan said the spacecraft was "doing very well" at present and all its systems were functioning properly. He said scientists at the ISRO will be busy in coming months, particularly in December when the space agency would take up a mission to launch small satellites. Earlier on August 4, ISRO posted the much-awaited pictures of earth captured by Chandrayaan 2  from outer space.
