Greater ida: A sophisticated marijuana cultivation operation was recently uncovered in Greater ida's Beta-2 Parsvnath Parama society, where police arrested Rahul Chowdhary, an English gruate from Meerut, for allegedly growing and selling premium marijuana varieties on dark web. setup involved imported seeds and full-spectrum grow lights, which Chowdhary used to cultivate high-quality cannabis in his flat.

Briefing reporters on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Sa Mian Khan explained how Chowdhary’s meticulous operation worked. “ accused, Rahul Chowdhary, would grow premium marijuana (OG) in flower pots by purchasing cannabis seeds from an international website, making payments through PayPal. police revealed that cultivation process took around 100-110 days per plant, costing Chowdhary an estimated ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 per plant, yielding him significant profits in illegal drug market. “During his interrogation, Chowdhary said he started cultivation around four months ago. It would take him roughly 100-110 days to grow one plant. Cultivating a plant would cost ₹5,000 to ₹7,000 and he would get ₹50,000-Rs 60,000 for each of m on dark web,” shared DCP.
