Union Home Minister Amit Shah during a meeting on Monday reviewed security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. This meeting was called amid reports that mentioned around 230 terrorists were waiting at terror launch ps in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) to enter country, officials said. This meeting was attended by National Security visor Ajit Doval and Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba, Home Secretary AK Bhalla and Intelligence officials.
Amit Shah reviews situation in J&K
In two-hour-long meeting, Amit Shah was given a detailed presentation on prevailing security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly along International Border and Line of Control (LoC). He was also briefed about steps that will be taken to maintain peace along with border areas as well as in Valley, a security official said.

'Pakistan army guiding terrorists'
Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon, General Officer Commanding, 15 Corps, h recently said re have been infiltration attempts from across border. “ launchps in PoK have been full — tanzeems including LeT, JeM, Hizbul and Al Br, frequently come to Pakistani posts. Every day, re are firing. Attempts of infiltration are also me in Poonch, Rajouri and Jammu sectors,” he h said.

Earlier in an exclusive interview with Republic TV, Lt Gen K.J.S. Dhillon h also exposed Pakistan sponsored terror post abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in Jammu & Kashmir. He said that terrorists were housed in a Pakistani Army post close to LOC and were guided by Pakistani army right up to LOC. That is when Indian Army apprehended terrorists. "y h some very nefarious designs, sensitive details are coming out in initial questioning. However, detailed investigation will be done by specialist ncies as and when y take m away," Lt Gen KJS Dillon ded.

Restrictions were lifted from most parts of Jammu & Kashmir on September 11 and some areas in Srinagar city witnessed an increased presence of private transport leing to traffic jams but schools remained closed and public transport was off ros, officials said. Few auto-rickshaws and inter-district cabs were also seen plying in some areas of city. officials said restrictions have been lifted from most areas of valley, but security forces continued to be deployed to maintain law and order. landline services across J&K was functional, voice calls on mobile devices were working only in Kura and Handwara police districts of rth Kashmir. Internet services remained suspended across all platforms.
