Home Ministry issues detailed statement on Eid celebration in J&K, says 'people offered prayers in large numbers'
As the Eid celebration is underway in the nation and in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Home Ministey gave a detailed report of celebration in the valley

As Eid celebration is underway in nation and in state of Jammu and Kashmir, Home Ministey gave a detailed report of celebration in valley. It said that prayers were offered peacefully in various districts. Giving stats, it also said that approximately 10,000 people were present to offer prayers at Jamia Masjid in Baramulla. Home Ministry also shared pictures of CRPF jawans and Jammu and Kashmir Police sharing sweets and smiles with locals on occasion of Eid.

Republic TV has been live from various parts of state where people have been celebrating Eid. Visuals show security officials distributing sweets and celebrating festivities with people. "Everything is peaceful. restriction have eased and re has been lot of improvement in public and transport movement," Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said. Home ministry also said that keeping in view possibility of mischievious elements, reasonable restrictions have been imposed.
Eid celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir:
Meanwhile, festival of Eid is being celebrated peacefully in state of Jammu and Kashmir, toger with security forces. This is first Eid celebrated in state after abrogation of Article 370. Even as opposition claimed that people of valley is going through brutality by forces, pictures, videos and updates from government suggests orwise.

NSA Ajit Doval celebrates Eid with locals
As Eid-al-ha is being celebrated nationwide, NSA Ajit Doval is in Srinagar to celebrate festival with locals. Doval who is in state to review security situation after Article 370 has abrogated, will meet locals. He will later brief media. government has been issuing statements, videos and pictures of rmalcy in state even as Opposition continues to accuse that abrogation of special status of state has brought life to halt in valley.
