Home Voting Initiative for Elderly and Disabled Voters in Rajasthan Bypolls
If a voter is unavailable at home during the designated time, the polling team will make a second attempt to record their votes on November 9-10.

A total 3,193 voters will vote from home in bypolls for seven assembly seats in Rajasthan .
According to Election Commission, 2,365 people d 85 and above and 828 persons with disabilities have opted to vote from home in se bypolls.

Polling teams will reach homes of se listed voters on a predetermined date and conduct home voting. Representatives of political parties and candidates concerned will also be present.
Senior citizens d 85 and above and people with more than 40 per cent disabilities are provided facility of home voting, Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan said on Sunday.

Election Commission, while anuncing Lok Sabha polls schedule earlier this year, unveiled facility, designed to facilitate electoral participation of se elderly and disabled citizens.
Mahajan said home voting would be held between vember 4 and 8. If voter is t available at home at scheduled date and time, polling team will make a second attempt to record ir votes on vember 9-10.

Bypolls will be held in Ramgarh, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Jhunjhunu, Khinvsar, Salumbar and Chaurasi assembly seats of Rajasthan on vember 13 and results declared on vember 23.
