Howdy Modi: PM Modi to have a busy schedule post the Houston event
Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has reached Houston for the Howdy Modi event, has a pretty packed schedule for the day. He will have meetings & fly to NY.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has reached Houston for the 'Howdy Modi' event, has a pretty packed schedule for the day. According to the US local time, PM Modi will first reach the NGR stadium for the mega diaspora event at 10:15 am on Saturday, September 22.
PM will have a luncheon meeting after Howdy Modi
After addressing the Indian-American community in Houston and attending the 90 minutes long event, he will then head to the Luncheon meeting with elected officials. The meeting is also to be held at the same venue as the 'Howdy Modi' event and is scheduled for 1 pm.

Moving on from that, PM Modi will be a part of the community reception at the NGR stadium itself at 2:30 pm on Saturday, following which he’s scheduled to unveil the plaque for the groundbreaking ceremony of Eternal Gandhi Museum as well as that for the inauguration of Gujarati Samaj of Houston.

PM will also leave for New York to attend a UNGA
At 4:30 pm, PM Modi will emplane for New York where he will attend the United Nations Secretary-General's Climate Action Summit at the UN building on September 23. Later, at 9:15 pm, he is expected to arrive at the JFK International Airport in New York.

For the uninitiated, PM Modi is in Houston for 'Howdy Modi', which is one of the major events that PM Modi is going to speak at. About 50,000 people are expected to attend the event. The event that is being hosted by the Texas India Forum is scheduled to take place on September 22 has been creating waves of energy and enthusiasm in the US since weeks now.

On a related note, The term 'Howdy' is commonly used in the southwestern United States and is a shorthand for “How do you do?" The event which will see a 90-minute cultural extravaganza - "Woven: The Indian-American Story" - that will feature 400 artists and community members from Texas and across the US will be followed by PM Modi's address to the gathering.
